I have spent several years working on digital design projects, including album and single artwork, logos, posters, social media graphics and other visual work. Typography is part of almost every one of those jobs. Sometimes I know the exact mood I want, but not the name of the font that will get me there. Other times I find a promising typeface and then have to open several more pages just to compare styles, check the available files or understand the licence.

That process is what pushed me to start NexFonts. I wanted one place where I could browse typefaces visually, test my own words, compare categories and use practical tools without jumping between a long list of unrelated websites.

The site started with fonts, but the idea has grown naturally into a broader creative workspace with font discovery, typography tools and selected design resources. I still look at every new feature from the same point of view: would this actually save time when I am working on a real project?

I do not think of fonts as files sitting in a catalogue. In design, the same word can feel completely different depending on the typeface, weight, spacing and context around it. A font that looks great on a poster may be uncomfortable for body text. A typeface that feels perfect for a fashion logo may be completely wrong for a software interface.

Those small visual decisions are why I care about live previews and simple browsing. On the font library, I want it to be easy to type your own text and judge a font in context instead of relying only on a sample image. The font finder, pairing generator and font converter came from similarly practical problems.

NexFonts is an independent project, not a large company with a hidden team behind it. I work directly on the website and keep improving the parts that I think can be clearer or more useful. That includes the interface, font catalogue, tools, guides, resource pages, broken links and the small details that affect how quickly someone can find what they need.

I also use modern development, research and productivity tools while building the site. The important part for me is the final result. Pages should make sense to a person, tools should do what they claim to do, and information should be reviewed rather than published just because it can be generated quickly.

I still find things I want to improve whenever I use the site myself. NexFonts is not a finished product that I plan to leave untouched; it is something I expect to keep refining as the catalogue grows and as I learn what visitors actually find useful.

NexFonts does not claim ownership of typefaces created by independent designers, studios, foundries or open-source projects. Copyright and other rights in those fonts remain with their respective creators and rights holders.

Where source and licence information is available, I try to present it clearly on the relevant font page so you have a better starting point before downloading or using the family. Even so, a listing on NexFonts should never be treated as a replacement for reading the original licence. If you plan to use a font commercially, please verify the terms supplied by its creator or official source.

My goal is to make fonts easier to discover and understand, not to take credit for another designer's work.

I added guides because a font website is more useful when it also helps people make decisions. Finding a typeface is only the first step. You still need to know whether it suits a logo, how to pair it with another family, which file format to use on the web or what a licence means for a client project.

I try to keep those pages practical. I would rather explain the limits of a tool or point out something that needs verification than pretend one answer works for every design.

I built NexFonts because it solves a problem I understand personally. That is still the reason I keep working on it. I want the site to feel useful first: easy to browse, clear about what it offers and honest about the things that need a little more checking.
